Hi, my name is Katie, and I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of emergency surgery for my beloved dog, Obrie.

Obrie suddenly became very sick and had to be rushed to the vet. She was diagnosed with a life-threatening infection called pyometra. Without immediate surgery, she would not have survived.

Thankfully, the veterinarians were able to perform the emergency surgery in time. Obrie is currently staying overnight at the vet for observation as she recovers from the procedure.

The emergency surgery and care came to $2,550.84, which was completely unexpected and overwhelming for us. The starting goal of $350 is to help get the fundraiser moving quickly, but our true goal is $3,000 to cover the full cost of surgery, medications, and follow-up care Obrie needs to make a complete recovery.
