Previously, this GoFundMe was created to help raise funds for the funeral of Gabriele O’Brien. We are devastated to share that Heidi O’Brien, beloved daughter of the late Robert and Gabriele O’Brien, has also passed away unexpectedly on July 15th, 2025. Our family is enduring an unimaginable series of losses.  

 •    On May 10th, 2025, we said goodbye to Robert O’Brien, after his courageous 7-year battle with cancer. 

    •    Just over a month later, on June 20th, his devoted wife, Gabriele O’Brien, passed away—her heart simply couldn’t carry on without him. 

    •    Now, only weeks later, Heidi O’Brien, has passed from heart-related complications, leaving us stunned, broken, and desperately trying to keep our family afloat. This is a tragedy no family could prepare for. Heidi was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, and a best friend. Her strength and heart carried so many of us through our hardest days—and now we’re left grieving her just as we began to lay the rest of our loved ones to peace. Robert leave behind his Mother Violet, Father Bob; Two sisters Shannon and Colleen, and Brother and wife Pat and Lynn. Gabriele leaves behind her Brother Peter and sister Petra. Combined they leave behind their three daughters: Cassandra, Heidi, and Megan O’Brien, 10 grandchildren: Bobbie Lee, Lorenzo, Angelo, Gianna, Ava, Sophia, Naomi, Jesse, Frankie, Max, and their precious great-granddaughter, Brielle. As well as many Nieces and Nephews. Heidi leaves behind her two surviving sisters, her three daughters: Bobbie Lee, Gianna, and Sophia, and her adored granddaughter, Brielle, along with her many nieces and nephews. We are reaching out once more, humbly, to ask for help. Your support—whether through a donation, a share, or a prayer—means more than we can express. Funds raised will go toward laying Heidi to rest beside her parents and helping relieve the financial burden on her family as they navigate this overwhelming grief.
