Help Obi Fight Cancer and Get the Treatment He Deserves

Hi, my name is Christina Thomas, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet cat, Obi.

In March 2024, I lost my full-time job and have only been able to find occasional work since. While I continue to apply and interview, I haven’t yet found a salaried position—and the financial burden of caring for a sick pet is overwhelming right now.

Obi was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), a type of cancer. He recently underwent surgery to remove the tumor, and while that was a big step forward, he now needs follow-up treatments to give him the best chance at a full recovery.

Obi came into my life in 2016 and has been my constant companion ever since. He’s only 8 years old and still has so much life left in him. He’s the gentlest, most lovable little guy—he loves cuddles, playing with his toys, and curling up next to me after a long day. He brings me endless joy and comfort, and I want to do everything I can to take care of him in return.
