We, the cast of the critically acclaimed production of Obeah Opera-a Nicole Brooks vision are blessed with the extraordinary, once in a lifetime opportunity to take this magical production overseas on a South African Tour.

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS THE FIRST OF IT'S KIND by being the first Canadian play to tour South Africa! During the country's Women's month( August 2024) this also marks the first time three SA theatre giant houses band together to make the tour possible: Soweto Theatre, PACOFS and State Theatre.

To make make this tour a true success- we need to ask our community for help. This is a completely independently produced touring initiative. As an all-woman cast, we have mothers who need to bring their children to live out this dream; cast members who are coming from other cities/countries including the Caribbean after hurricane Beryl and other costs that are not included in the overall production that need to be met.
