Oasis is a ministry and nonprofit organization that began out of a home, with a mission to provide social and medical assistance to remote communities in Guatemala. Their primary focus is on feeding under-resourced children in the village of La Pinada, while also serving as a body of Christians who gather every Sunday for church. The heart of Oasis is to advance the Gospel of Jesus by meeting both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.

Recently, Oasis has started hosting informational sessions for the children of La Pinada, where they provide education on how to maintain a balanced diet and offer nutritious meals. These sessions are led by a registered dietitian from the area and will take place over two weekends this month, with hopes to continue and expand in the future. The organization’s long-term vision is to plant a church in the village and to impact the community so that they may come to know the love of Jesus, providing all possible support to establish a faith-based community. They also hope to expand this initiative to other communities as needs arise.

Donations to this fundraiser will be used to provide food and nutritional supplies for children ages 0-12 and for the elderly in La Pinada. Once the immediate nutritional goals are met, additional funds will go toward planting the church and supporting the ongoing mission of Oasis. By giving, supporters can become a vital part of what God is doing in these remote regions—helping to change lives and build a lasting legacy of hope and faith.
