My Story

My name is Oanh Hoang, RN, BSN, PCCN, CHPN, and I'm a dedicated nurse passionate about providing compassionate hospice care. With six years of experience serving elderly patients in rural Colorado, I've navigated complex medical needs like respiratory, renal, liver failure, chronic wounds, and long-term antibiotic therapy.

I'm driven by a deep passion for providing compassionate hospice care to those in need. My goal is to ensure patients receive the support they deserve, at the right time, to navigate their end-of-life journey with dignity and comfort.

Addressing Rural Healthcare Disparities

I've witnessed firsthand the critical shortage of healthcare professionals in rural areas, limiting access to quality care. Driven by my passion for hospice care, I'm committed to bridging this gap.

Pursuing Advanced Education

To better serve my community, I've been accepted into Duke University's Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. This program will equip me with the knowledge and skills to deliver comprehensive care to older adults in rural communities.
