Severe flooding has battered Oahu, Hawaii, causing the largest flood event in the state in 20 years. Hundreds of people have been rescued as water levels rose, prompting evacuation orders and putting thousands at risk. The Wahiawa dam is dangerously close to breaching, and entire towns like Waialua and Haleiwa have been forced to evacuate. Catastrophic flash flooding has destroyed homes, damaged airports and hospitals, and cut off communities across the island. The North Shore has been under constant flash flood warnings, and the full extent of the damage is still unfolding.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward rebuilding the once beautiful and thriving community of Oahu. We will use your support to repair damaged buildings and structures, provide food and sustenance for those in need, and supply emergency resources and temporary shelters for families who have lost everything. Every dollar will help families across the island as they work to rebuild their lives and restore their communities.
If you have ever been to Hawaii or spent time there, you know it is a special and unique place—not just for its beautiful weather, palm trees, and warm beaches, but for its people, culture, and the spirit of Aloha that fills the state. With this in mind, I ask for your help. Let’s keep this beautiful state beautiful and support the people who make Hawaii so special. If you love Hawaii, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to help those in need during this time of hardship. Aloha and thank you!
