My name is Nyree, and I was recently diagnosed with Stage Zero breast cancer on August 5, 2025. This means the cancer has not spread, and thankfully, it was caught early. Even with this early diagnosis, the symptoms of my condition have made me feel tired, sore, and achy, making everyday tasks more challenging. I am also severely anemic and have low energy due to extremely low iron levels; and at times it can cause me to experience weakness or dizziness. So, I will be receiving IV Iron infusion therapy, which will also benefit me in my cancer care.
Despite these difficulties, I am doing my best to continue working, mostly from home, though I still need to go into the office occasionally. Balancing work and my health has been tough, but I am determined to keep moving forward.
One of the biggest hurdles has been the financial strain of treatment. I am seeking support to help cover the cost of High Dose Vitamin C, IV Infusion therapy, which is not covered by insurance, as well as multiple co-pays for doctor appointments, lab work, and other medical testing. These expenses add up quickly and have become a significant burden. Every contribution will go directly toward these essential medical needs, helping me access the care that gives me hope for recovery.
Some of the specific Co-Pays that I have are:
Dr. Appointments and Follow-ups - $25 per visit
Bloodwork/Labs - $25 - $40
Biopsy - $50 each
IV Iron Infusions - $25 each
MRI - $25
Ultrasounds - $25 each
There will be other co-pays later for surgery and possible follow up treatment after the surgery.
The High Dose Vitamin C, IV Infusion (a.k.a. High C IV Infusion) is not covered by insurance and is $150 per infusion. It was recommended that I get 2-3 infusions a week, but I’m only aiming for at least once a week because of the high cost. The High C IV Infusion is extremely crucial for my treatment, and has also proven to be effective in the killing of cancer cells.
My faith and trust in God/Jesus, hope and lots of prayers (along with the prayers of many friends and family members) has helped me to stay positive and optimistic for divine strength, help, healing and endurance in a difficult situation.
Throughout this journey, I have been grateful for the support of a few family members, friends from my church and friends from other churches. Their encouragement has meant a lot, but the reality is that I need additional help to get through this challenging time. Your support will make a real difference in my ability to continue treatment and focus on healing. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of my support system.
