We are a dedicated group of OB nurse practitioners who have served New York Presbyterian Hospital and our community for many years. On January 12, 2026, we made the difficult decision to go on strike due to a labor dispute, standing together with the entire NYP nurses to fight for a fair contract and better working conditions for NYP nurses and our patients. This has not been an easy journey, but we remain united in our commitment to each other and to the families we care for every day.

Being on strike has brought significant challenges, especially when it comes to covering our basic living expenses and maintaining our medical health coverage. Many of us are facing financial uncertainty, and the stress of not knowing how we will provide for our families or afford necessary healthcare is overwhelming. In addition, we are working hard to keep our spirits up and support each other at the picket line, but resources are stretched thin.
