Help Nymeria afford surgery in late January!
When I adopted Ny two summers ago, she weighed barely four pounds and was infested with fleas. Her previous owner adored her but didn’t have space to take care of her. I agreed to take Ny in after her former owner was threatened with eviction if she didn’t get rid of her cats. When I brought her home, she hid under the couch for a few days before venturing out…
Since then, she’s gained color and weight (7 lbs now!), made cat (and human) friends, and become queen of the house. I call her the calendar cat because of her very cute face. She’s still quite tiny but takes up space with her boisterous attitude.
On bringing her home, I noticed she had a small bump on her neck. Over time, it’s grown. Last week she jumped up to join me on the couch, and I noticed the side of her neck was sticky with blood. So, we took a trip to the vet.
Ny has a tumor on the side of her neck that will only continue to grow, and has a chance of becoming malignant in the future. It’s got to go!
I’ve set the goal to the remaining cost estimate after what funds I can contribute. The overall cost for surgery is estimated to be $1750. If you’d like to help provide for this cute girl to get the surgery she needs, please consider donating. Everything helps. Ny says thank you!
