Hello!! My name is Angela Ballentine and I am the mom of this amazing 15-year-old. Her name is Nyla Ballentine. Nyla has been a sickle cell patient since birth and has endured tremendous obstacles such as countless hospitalizations for crises, bone deterioration, and a hip replacement with no complaints. We now have the opportunity in December 2025 to participate in a procedure that will result in Nyla being Sickle Cell free!! This is a historic and groundbreaking achievement. She will be the first teenage female to receive this treatment. I am a self employed and need your help as we go through this process. I will be required to stay incubated for several months due to the extensive chemotherapy. We are asking for your generosity so that my home and business life continues to thrive as Nyla recovers.
