Hi, I’m Nyla, a hairstylist living with Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW).

Over the past 6 months, I’ve been battling an intense skin condition caused by the long-term use of topical steroids prescribed for eczema. When I stopped using them, my body went into withdrawal. My skin became inflamed, painful, and raw, sometimes burning, cracking, and oozing. It’s affected my face, neck, hands, and body, making everyday tasks, even doing hair, incredibly difficult.

My hands and face have been the most affected, which makes my job as a hairstylist extremely painful. I’ve still shown up for my clients through the discomfort, but my body is asking for real healing, not just temporary relief.

I’ll be traveling to Thailand to begin CAP Therapy, a specialized treatment that has helped many people worldwide recover from TSW.

This therapy isn’t available in the U.S. yet, and Thailand has become a leading destination for patients seeking alternative treatments and recovery support for conditions like mine.
