Hello I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Nydia Monsegur, who has been hospitalized for the past five days at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

What started as a sudden medical emergency quickly turned into every family’s nightmare. My mom was diagnosed with sepsis, a life-threatening condition where the body’s response to infection can cause severe damage to vital organs. Since her diagnosis, she has been undergoing intensive antibiotic treatment and constant medical monitoring.

The costs associated with hospitalization, treatments, medications, and recovery add up quickly. On top of medical bills, there are everyday expenses that don’t stop just because life does. This fundraiser is to help ease that burden so our family can focus entirely on what matters most: her recovery.
