Hi everyone. I am a theatre artist based in NYC, currently in the process of applying for my 4th round of O1 visa (the visa for artists with extraordinary abilities).

Since 2016, I've been working, or well, trying to make it work as a full-time theatre maker here in NYC and beyond. I've worked on various productions in the city at theatres including The Tank, The Brick, Flea Theatre, WP Theatre, Soho Rep, and beyond. As an assistant director, I've worked on Broadway and off-Broadway productions including Grey House, Like They Do in the Movies (Laurence Fishburne's one-man show), The Far Country at the Atlantic, and more.

As you know, the industry doesn't quite support artists, and between the restrictions I have on my visa and limited opportunities, the legal cost of the visa application has been putting me in a pickle. So here I am, hoping to get some help from the community so that I can continue to generate work and create communities.
