We're two high school students from Queens, New York, and we’ve started a free tutoring initiative for students in grades 1–8 across NYC. We believe every child deserves academic support, regardless of their background or income.

We started our program during the summer of 2025 where we visited neighborhoods like Flushing, Harlem, Little Neck, and Bryant Park to distribute flyers, post signs, and spread the word in person.

All tutoring is completely free and volunteer-run by students for students. Our goal is to provide personalized 1-on-1 academic support, test prep help, and encouragement to children who might not otherwise have access to tutoring.

Instead of keeping donations for ourselves, we give back in a way that matters: all donations are reinvested into BrightSpace Tutoring. Funds go toward expanding our reach, creating learning resources, improving technology, and building sustainable operations — so we can support more students and grow as a nonprofit in the future.
