Help NYC comedians pay their bills

NYC comedians are out of work, and will be indefinitely. Like most artists and gig workers, their future is at best uncertain... comedy clubs will not be re-opening any time soon, and shows that were lined up for the summer and fall have already been canceled. This fund is a way for NYC-based comics - of all levels in the business - to get some assistance quickly, and without any red tape. 

Whatever you can contribute will help members of this community pay their rent, phone bills, groceries, etc. Funds will be distributed based on need as best as possible. Comedians will submit their requests below.  (organizer Ray Ellin will not be accepting any proceeds for himself). In order to qualify you must have been working as a comedian, based in NYC,  for at least one year. This is based on need, not level in the business. Explain your situation, don’t be reluctant or shy. 
Mention whether you can afford your rent or your mortgage, whether you have health insurance, whether you have savings to subsist on for four months, and whether you currently face food insecurity. We will prioritize total unemployment over underemployment, single parents and one-income families with young children. Applicants older than 55 or those with acute medical needs are prioritized. All information will be kept strictly confidential. All requests will remain confidential.
