Nyanne’s journey is a testament to her unwavering strength. Since 2018, my daughter Nyanne has bravely battled kidney failure. That year, she suffered her eighth stroke, which led to the discovery of an autoimmune disease called anchor vasculitis. This disease attacked 70% of her kidneys, and in 2023, she received her first kidney transplant. Unfortunately, the transplant failed just before her two-year kidney anniversary, but we remain hopeful and determined to find a new donor. Due to her autoimmune disease, Nyanne can only benefit from a living donor, making our search even more urgent and challenging.

We are now fundraising to cover the many expenses that come with this journey. The funds raised will help us pay for travel to the hospital, ongoing medication costs, and living expenses if we need to relocate for a transplant in another state. These costs are not covered by insurance, and they are essential for Nyanne’s care and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on supporting Nyanne through this difficult time.
