Nutricare's Community Collaboration

Donation protected
As a teenager I joined the Army to position myself to never need to receive help. So I thought. I believed I was the one to give help to others. When the opportunity presented itself for my husband and I to purchase a wellness center it seemed meant to be.

Over the last 5 years Nutricare Wellness Hubb has been of service to this community for colon hydrotherapy, vitamins, supplements, and fresh pressed juice made on site in our commercial kitchen. From our first days in this business I wanted to help people, my plans always included what I could do to lend support but I never put in the plans that there would come a time when I also would need help.

These are challenging times and many businesses are facing financial difficulties, changes to business models, and costly supplies. Choices have to be made. The shift in the economy, price increases at every turn, and inflation effects every aspect of my business. I chose to stop juice production at the end of last year, due to the enormous cost of produce, supplies, time and labor. I'm offering a work space that is underutilized so that other businesses can have space to work and prepare their own products. Allowing micro businesses in our community to occupy available infrastructure that I no longer utilize could be beneficial for all of our success.

For once I am admitting that I can't do this on my own. Many times business growth takes collaborations, partnerships and giving back to the community we serve. 2025 has been the slowest year for colon hydrotherapy which I still provide by appointment only. The decline in business and rise in cost has forced me to realize that the teenager who never wanted to recieve help had to be humbled and matured in service to growth.

Help us to grow our platform to pivot in the direction that can benefit Nutricare and the community. I have a goal to raise $10,553.68 by April 19, 2025 to cover the overhead expenses, operating cost and the customization of a commercial kitchen into an unique opportunity for micro business owners who need infrastructure. To celebrate the achievement on that day lets come together and showcase all of the micro businesses who take advantage of the opportunity with a pop up event at 225 E. City Ave Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 in the lobby outside of Suite 110. This event will be a sneak peek of what each company has to offer the community.

If you are a business owner who has interest in a cold commercial kitchen for short term production and pop up opportunity please email us.

Thank you for your time and your help.
