Support Nurse Joe: Rebuild After Tragedy
Donation protected
Help Support Nurse Joe in His Time of Need
For over a decade, Nurse Joe has been a pillar of compassion and care at Okeechobee Health Care Facility, where he has worked since 2011. He’s not only a dedicated nurse, but a devoted husband of 29 years and a selfless caregiver who stepped up to help his blind nephew when he had no one else as well as supporting his wife Kay through cancer treatments and joint replacements.
Joe and Kay have had a devastating year. They lost their son unexpectedly. While grieving that Enormous loss they were displaced by the devastating tornadoes that swept through our area for over a month. And just when they began to rebuild, tragedy struck again — a fire destroyed their home. They has now been without stable housing for over a month, trying to stay strong while still showing up every day to care for others.
Now it’s our turn to care for them.
Joe has spent his life giving to his patients, his family, and this community. We’re asking you to come together and support someone who has never hesitated to put others first. Every donation will go toward helping Joe and his wife Kay recover, rebuild, and get back on his feet.
Let’s show Nurse Joe and his wife Kay that OUR community stands WITH them - just like he’s always stood behind us.
