In Loving Memory of Jonas (2003–2025)

We are heartbroken over the unexpected passing of Jonas, my aunt Isabel’s firstborn son, who left this world far too soon at just 21 years old.

Jonas’s life was a blessing from the very beginning. He was born with gastrointestinal complications that required special medical care. Through his early challenges, he inspired his mother Isabel to become a nurse — a path of compassion and healing she has walked ever since, dedicating her life to helping others, just as she once fought for her son.

Jonas grew into a kind, vibrant, and ambitious young man. He loved deeply — his family, his friends, and the world around him. He found joy in the simple things that made him feel connected and alive: gaming, anime, and spending time with those he cared about. His laughter, his warmth, and his passion left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

He had recently started working and was excited about building a future. But everything changed in the last two years when Jonas was diagnosed with epilepsy. The condition brought many challenges and impacted his independence and plans. Still, he met each day with quiet strength, holding onto hope and continuing forward, even through the unknown.

On the morning of July 15, 2025, Jonas tragically passed away. Isabel heard a loud noise and rushed into the room where he was. She found him in the middle of a sudden and intense seizure. He had stopped breathing. As a nurse with many years of experience — someone who had not only performed CPR but also taught it — Isabel was faced with the unthinkable: having to resuscitate her own son. It happened within minutes.

Jonas was deeply loved. He brought joyful energy and a big heart to everyone around him — his mother, his sisters, and his friends. His passing occurred on what was meant to be a day of celebration — his little sister’s and his aunt’s birthday — a bittersweet reminder of how fragile life is.

This fund is to support Isabel during this devastating time — to help her cover personal expenses so she can take the time to grieve her son, lay him to rest, and care for her daughters as they mourn their beloved brother.
