It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend Briana, who recently began her journey as a nurse, a career she was incredibly passionate about. Though she had just stepped into the profession, her impact was immediate. Her patients, coworkers, and loved ones remember her for her bright smile, her warm and loving heart, and her deep desire to care for others in their time of need.

Born and raised in Virginia, Briana had always dreamed of helping people. She worked tirelessly through nursing school and had only just begun fulfilling that dream when she lost her battle against mental health. Her passing has left an unfillable space in the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.

Her father wishes to bring her back home to Virginia so she can be laid to rest surrounded by family, friends, and the community that raised her. Unfortunately, the financial burden of transportation and burial costs is significant, and we are reaching out for help during this incredibly difficult time.
