Support Nube Gomez's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Nube Gomez was diagnosed with Stage 5 IVDD on October 20, 2024. Intervertebral disc disease otherwise known as IVDD is a common neurological disorder in French bulldogs that occurs when the discs between the vertebrae in the spine degenerate or herniate. It can cause pain, nerve damage, and even paralysis. Unfortunately, Nube became paralyzed in her back legs.
IVDD surgery is usually recommended when rest and medication are not enough to treat a dog's Asymptoms. Due to the extreme costs of this procedure, we decided it would be best to follow a medical management path towards Nube's recovery. Within the last 6 weeks, Nube has had a numerous amount of Acupuncture and Physical Therapy at BARC Treatment Center as well as Veterinarian Visits for check-ups. Bills are beginning to pile up and if you are able to contribute it is so greatly appreciated to continue her treatments without the stress of bills. If you can't contribute money at this time, please help us by sharing this post. Thank you. The Gomez family.
