Please Help Novyes on the Road to Recovery

Donation protected

On Sunday, April 28th an unspeakable tragedy occurred when our much loved Novyes fell into a pond while trying to retrieve a ball. His mother, Rachael was able to perform CPR on him until paramedics could arrive and take him to PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA. Once his vitals were stable he was airlifted to Seattle Children's Hospital where he has been receiving life-saving care in their ICU ever since .

Responsive but still sedated, Novyes has a long road of recovery ahead of him as he is currently breathing with the help of a ventilator. The long term effects of this accident are still unknown and there is the possibility of brain damage.  Currently he is trying to beat a lung infection and they hope that soon he will be able to breathe completely on his own.

We hope that through this gofundme, the community is able to help support Novyes and Rachael during this difficult time. While Novyes is here in Seattle, Rachael is not able to return to work in Bellingham. Already planning to move back to Seattle in June, Rachael must now try to relocate while also being there for her son. We are collecting these funds to help make up for their lost income, and future medical needs.

The parents and family offer our most deep-felt thanks to everyone who is able to help donate.
