Hello friends and family! Our names are Nova and Matt, and we are starting this GoFundMe to help build a better and safer future together.

I ( Nova ) recently came out as trans . With living in the south , daily law updates have made navigating my transition process challenging and even feel unsafe . . And recently, I was denied access to HRT. Over and over - which was a devastating blow to say the least. Along with Matt being the son of two immigrant parents, being here never felt like home. We decided that waiting for “improvements” was not an option we wanted. So we began looking for a new home where we could feel more safe, seen and secure.

Colorado offers the legal and medical protections needed for Nova. Beyond that, it represents a fresh start. This move is an opportunity for both of us to explore, grow, and live life to the fullest.

We’ve been through so much lately, and hopefully some support will help leave the stress and anxiety behind.

This is a journey undertaken together, and we are grateful for any efforts in helping turn this new leaf. Every donation and share helps get closer to the goal. Thank you for your kindness.
