Hello! Our names are Jack and Gracie. For our anniversary last year, we adopted a beautiful cat and named her Nova. She immediately became our whole world. She is the sweetest, most outgoing cat I’ve ever met. A few weekends ago, she got her head stuck in a paper bag. She panicked, and ended up fracturing her front left leg. She needed immediate surgery to plate and pin the bone, but we didn’t know if her nerves would recover. And with all of the risks that come along with the surgery at this point, we have made the difficult decision to amputate. Obviously no pet parent ever wants to make this decision, but if it is what’s best for her well being and quality of life, we will do anything and everything to ensure that. The money raised from this fundraiser will go towards her surgery, and any extra expenses such as bandages and medication. Any extra will go towards a prosthetic leg for our sweet girl.
