My German Shepherd Nova ended up getting a hemotoma due to an ear infection, she had to be sedated and get her ear drained and a little tube implant to keep it from refilling, she currently has to wear a headwrap for 3 weeks to keep her from shaking her ears around. The first visit was $900 and i had to borrow money for that part but now it’s gonna be another $400 for the follow up in 3 weeks to get the implant removed and her ear stitched up and i don’t currently have the money for any of this and had to scrounge together what i could, im 20 years old and working constantly to be able to afford her normal health care. She has a bunch of allergies and health problems as is and i can barely afford the normal vet bills so this was a huge surprise. This dog is the light of my life, and has saved my life on multiple occasions, is a fully trained PTSD alert and response service dog for me and this entire situation broke my heart. Any help would be greatly appreciated and make a very happy doggo!
