Support Nova's Fight Against TVT Cancer

Donation protected
Nova was found dumped in a secluded field in South Texas in 100-degree heat with no shelter, food, or water. The only outcome for her ultimately was death. Someone posted her on social media asking for someone to rescue her. Shortly after she was picked up and brought to my home because I didn’t have the heart to not take her in. Since then, I got her spayed, fully vaccinated, and got her bloodwork done. She tested positive for heart worm and is currently being treated for it. Since her spay she was been bleeding from her vulva. Each day the amount of blood increases. I took her in for a post-op appointment and antibiotics were prescribed for her as they thought it was a UTI.
One morning when she went out to potty I saw a large bloody mass hanging out of her vulva so I rushed her to the emergency vet and it turns out that the mass is a tumor and I was told that she has TVT cancer. She needs a minimum of six chemotherapy treatments to hopefully get rid of it. The vet is confident that with the chemotherapy treatments that she should be ok.
As much as I hate to ask for help, this poor girl has no rescue. I have asked and everyone is full. And unfortunately because she is a pit mix she’s not desirable to rescues. On top of that with all her medical issues, I don’t see a rescue stepping in for her any time soon, so I need help. PLEASE, any amount you’re willing to donate will be greatly appreciated. If I can get to my goal it will cover all her chemotherapy treatments, her heartworm treatment, any other medical issues she may have. It will also help with things I need to care for her as far as food, pee pads, diapers, etc…

If you’ve made it this far, thank you and thank you for your donation. If you’re not able to donate, please share Nova’s story in hopes of donations or a rescue who can step in and help with her medical care. I know we can’t save them all, but we can do our best to try. God bless you all.
