Hello everyone! My name is Teri, but I am here to talk about Chris, or as everyone calls him, Nova.

Recently Nova had every parents worst nightmare happen, a child passing. Nova has always been Zach's biggest champion. Zach had a lot of struggles with his health over the years, and Nova made sure Zach had the best care, and the best life. Anyone who has met Zach, even just for a moment, fell in love. Zach was on the spectrum, but that didn't stop Zach. Zach loved his video games, chocolate milk, and his friends. Zach always worried about his friends and how they were doing. Nova did a fantastic job making sure not only Zach's medical needs were met, but also encouraged Zach's interests and hobbies. With all of this going on, Nova also made sure he was there for all of his friends.

On Valentines day of this year, Nova lost his best friend, Zach. Nova put together a beautiful celebration of life, and it was one of the most heartwarming thing to witness. So many people came together to share their memories of Zach. In every story shared, you learned how Nova was there every step of the way.

Now we need to come together for Nova, as he has been there for so many of us. Nova did the responsible thing, and had a policy of life insurance for his son. After Zach passed away, Nova learned the insurance policy had been denied to one of Zach's existing health diagnosis, with no notice given to Nova. Now Nova has to deal with paying for Zach's funeral. Any funds raised here will go directly to covering the funeral expenses.
