Hi, my name is Amber and this is my little fur baby, Nova Belle. She’s a 7-year-old Queensland Heeler, a spunky and goofy girl. My sweet love was recently diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on the left side of her chest. A mast cell tumor (MCT) is a type of malignant (cancerous) tumor consisting of mast cells. On top of all that, her brother broke one of her nails, which needs to be removed as well. As most people know, I work at Power Road Animal Hospital and am currently in school to become a CVT. Ms. Nova is going to have surgery Friday to remove the MCT. Due to recent financial complications, I’m very short on funds. My fiancé Kyle and I call these pups our kids.
