My name is Ubaida Aldahdouh, I am 17 years old, and I live in Gaza City with my family: my mother Noura (36), my father Osama (45), my sisters Farah (16) and Aya (14), and my little brother Hamoud (7).
We are living in the heart of a devastating war in Gaza, where we have lost everything. Our home has been completely destroyed, and my father’s training center, “House Development Center ,” was also destroyed.
Tragically, my uncle Naseef and his five children were killed in the brutal bombings. We are all now forcibly displaced due to the daily shelling of the city, the destruction of buildings and towers, hunger, lack of water, electricity, and medicine.
I suffer from chronic asthma and immune deficiency, and I require ongoing treatment to survive. My sisters, Farah and Aya, urgently need psychological and medical support, but they still dream of a brighter future and want to study medicine and nursing to help others, as we have seen these professions save lives during the war.
My mother holds a nursing degree and hopes to continue her graduate studies to obtain a Master’s and PhD to help as many people as possible.
I am a singer and received the award for Best Vocalist in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood. I dream of using my voice to spread peace, love, and healing, but my dream cannot survive without safety, medicine, and education.
We are launching this campaign to ask for your urgent support in:
- Evacuating us from Gaza as soon as the borders reopen to ensure our safety.
- Providing medical care and safe shelter.
- Supporting my mother’s advanced nursing studies.
- Access to food, clothing, hygiene supplies, water, and medicine.
We urgently need your help before it’s too late. Any donation, no matter how small, could mean survival for us.
