A father brings his daughter to an NA meeting to celebrate one year of his sobriety and to hopefully heal the open wound on their relationship through honesty. Throughout the film, we explore moments of tragedy and what can happen when we look for a glimpse of beauty even in the ugly parts of life.
I have seen firsthand the damage that drugs can do to a person and a family. But I have also seen the tremendous miracles that can happen when we open our hearts to forgiveness even in the face of challenges. This isn't a story about drugs, it's a story about hope and giving grace wherever we can.
This money will go towards location fees, transportation, equipment, post production, production design, and providing for my cast and crew.
