Support Norwalk's Youth: Fund Victor's Boxing Gym
Donation protected
My name is Victor Medina, and I run a youth boxing program here in Norwalk, CT. For the past two years, it’s been tough. We’ve been training wherever we can — small spaces, shared gyms — but we’ve never really had a place to call home. It’s been rough, not just for me, but for the amazing group of kids and families who show up every week with heart, discipline, and the desire to grow.
I’ve dedicated myself to helping the community, especially young people who need it most — including kids who are on probation and looking for a better path. Boxing gives them structure, purpose, and a safe outlet. But in order to keep this going and expand what we do, we need a proper space.
I recently found a great location in Norwalk that could finally give us the home we’ve been searching for. I’m trying to raise $50,000 to help cover the costs of moving into and building out this new gym — including rent, equipment, renovations, and everything needed to create a safe, professional training environment.
But I don’t just want to ask for money — I want to give back.
If you donate and come by the gym with proof, I’ll personally give you a great discount on memberships or classes. This gym is for the community. I want to make boxing affordable for all the families I work with, but I haven’t been able to do that yet because we’ve been limited by space and resources. With your help, that can finally change.
I believe we can build the best boxing gym in Connecticut — not just with great equipment, but with a strong culture, deep community roots, and a real impact on young lives.
Thank you for your support — whether you donate, share, or just stop by and say hi. We appreciate you more than you know.
