Support Norval's Healing Journey

Life can change in an instant.

Norval experienced a major medical emergency late March 23rd, causing him to fall, resulting him needing to have emergency surgery to begin to repair his shoulder and humerus.

After numerous scans, Norval had emergency surgery April 3rd. The surgery needed to fix Norval’s arm was an Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) for a left proximal humerus fracture involves surgically realigning and stabilizing the broken bone fragments using metal plates and screws. This procedure aims to promote proper healing and restore function to the shoulder. The damage sustained was more than they realized from the scans. Norval also received an Allograft, donor bone. We are thankful for the selfless donor and their family.

Norval has worked for Southwest Airlines almost 33 years. It’s his only job besides serving in the U.S Army. Norval is generous to those around him, always giving and never asking for anything in return. I have witnessed him give selflessly of his flight benefits endlessly, always making a way to say yes. His work hours provided those perks to others. I have witnessed him buy and provide football equipment for boys who didn’t have means to have their own. I have witnessed Norval take shoes out of his own closet and make someone else happy. I witness daily Norval being an example to his children with his work ethic, his love for Jesus and being present even if that means sacrificing to do so. He’s an exemplary father, son, husband and friend. It’s his turn to be shown love in the same capacity as he gives.

His doctors advised him that he will be out of work for at least 6 months. We are raising funds to help cover the overwhelming medical expenses that Norval will be facing in the upcoming months. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden and allow Norval to focus on healing.

Please pray for Norval, this road has been tough but we have hope and faith that God will heal him as he was created, healthy and whole. We are thankful for his medical team. We believe with their wisdom and God as our ultimate healer, good will come from this.
