The 2026 Musical at Northampton High School (Northampton, MA) is Mean Girls! This full-length School Edition of Mean Girls is a rock musical (book by Tina Fey, lyrics by Nell Benjamin, and music by Jeff Richmond) based on the 2004 film by Mark Waters. The musical centers on Cady, a teenage girl who transfers to a public high school after being homeschooled her whole life in Africa. At school, she befriends outsiders Janis and Damian who persuade her to infiltrate the "Plastics", a clique consisting of wealthy but insecure Gretchen, sweet but dimwitted Karen, and "queen bee" Regina. You'll not want to miss this fun and fabulous musical, coming to our NHS stage in March of 2026.

The Northampton Musical Booster Club is raising funds to ensure that this show - and future musicals at our school - will go on. The musical at NHS does not receive any funds from the school; it is solely funded by the Booster Club through our fundraising efforts and ticket sales.
