Support North Bay Rowing Club's Nationals Journey
Our Junior athletes from the North Bay Rowing Club competed in the Southwest Regionals Rowing event on May 3-5. Our small but mighty group cheered on our team as we watched multiple boats qualify to compete in the 2024 USRowing Youth National Championships in Florida. This is an exceptionally high achievement as this crew will now be regarded as one of the top youth rowing boats in the United States. Go North Bay!!
National Championships will take place in Sarasota, Florida from June 6-9. These young athletes will be bringing their technique, talent and love for the sport with them to Florida and represent Sonoma County on the National level. Ranging in age from 13 to 16 years old, these hardworking athletes include (along with their amazing head coach, Pam Hughes):
WU16 4x+ Cody Davis (cox), Lucy Harstad, Casey Pasdach, Marie Weilbacher, Isabel Bartling
MU15 4x+ Mae Stearns (cox), Owen Washburn, Miles Carney, Garrett Gerhke, Parker Lim
WU17 1x Lucy Campbell
WU17 4x Maisie Rasmussen, Marley DeFord, Olivia Ru, Lucy Campbell
We hope you will lend a hand as we reach out to our friends, family, and local business community to raise funds that will help offset the expenses involved in sending this team to Florida in just a few weeks. We are grateful for any assistance you can offer because it really will make a difference. Money raised will fund transportation, lodging costs and food for the athletes. We thank you in advance for your contribution!
