Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

Life has been very heavy for us lately. This past year our Mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver due to her auto immune disease. It’s been a very scary time as we navigate what her health will continue to look like since it has been ever changing.

 Last week she was admitted to the hospital for a very low blood pressure count and high white blood cell count. While in the hospital they discovered that she has multiple ulcers in her upper GI tract due to her liver function and causing her to bleed internally. 

Thankfully, she had THE best care while at the hospital and has made a beautiful recovery and wa finally able to come home yesterday after 6 days in the hospital. While she is recovering wonderfully, being the warrior and badass she is, she is still struggling immensely. The road ahead is a long one and full of unknowns at every corner. We are waiting for her to fully recover from this hospitalization so that we can get her tests done to see if she qualifies for a liver transplant. 

 Our mom is our world. Our rock. Our hero. If there’s anyone that deserves to be showered in love and positivity, it’s her. With all the adversity she’s been shown in her life, she continues to persevere and fight tooth and nail at every turn. I pray we can get her the help and finance she needs.

We are reaching out in a time of deep need, hoping to rally as much love and support as possible for our incredible mother, Norri. She is thankfully now home from a recent hospital stay fighting serious complications due to the decline of her liver caused by an autoimmune disease. However, the diagnosis has turned our world upside down and the road ahead is uncertain—but we are determined to do everything in our power to give her the best possible care, comfort, and hope for healing.

Norri’s Story: A Life of Love and Selflessness

If you know Norri, then you know she is a light in this world. She has spent her entire life giving to others without hesitation—always showing up, always offering kindness, and always putting others before herself with a smile on her face.

As a single mother, she raised four children on her own, working tirelessly to provide for us, support us, and give us the love and strength we needed to build our lives. She never asked for anything in return. She never complained. She has always loved us with her whole heart and made sure we had everything we needed, even when things were hard for her.

Norri is the kind of person who is always putting everyone else’s needs before her own - offering a kind word on a tough day and consistently being there for the people she loves. Now, she’s the one who needs help, and we want to show up for her the way she has always shown up for others.

The Road Ahead & How You Can Help

Liver failure is a life-threatening condition, and moving forward, Norri will need:

✅ A liver transplant, which is the only long-term solution to save her life.

✅ At-home care to help her manage her condition and keep her comfortable.

✅ Specialists and additional medical consultations to explore the best options for her treatment and, if possible, help fast-track her for a transplant.

✅ Living expenses so she can focus on healing without financial stress.

The reality is that medical care—especially for something as serious as organ failure—is incredibly expensive. We cannot do this alone.
