Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
Our world was recently turned upside down when my dad, Norm was diagnosed with Stage 3 esophagus cancer. Anyone who knows my dad knows he is the first person to lend a helping hand, a fiercely dedicated man in everything he does and a true fighter. Now, he is facing the biggest battle of his life, and we are rallying together to support him.
The diagnosis has been a devastating blow, but my dad is ready to fight. His medical team has outlined an aggressive treatment plan. He will be starting chemo with a goal of surgery to create space in his esophagus so he can eat actual food again. He has been put on a liquid only diet, which is less than favorable.
While our focus is entirely on his health and recovery, the financial realities of this diagnosis are quickly setting in. Between deductibles, out-of-pocket costs for treatments, medications, and necessary travel to and from different specialists and the hospital, the expenses are mounting and he shouldn’t have to worry about finances while he is fighting for his life.
We are humbly asking for your help to ease this financial burden so Norm can focus 100% of his energy on beating this disease, rather than worrying about all of the bills.
Any contribution, no matter how large or small, will make a world of difference. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand, but we ask that you please keep him in your prayers and share this page with your network.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and generosity during this difficult time. We will provide updates on his progress here.
With love and gratitude,
The Levesque family
