On August 18, 2018, Norman Canning, a 20-year veteran of Grande Prairie Salvage Ltd. suffered severe burns and injuries from an industrial accident while at work. Since that moment, Norman has been under the care of the medical staff and doctors at the burn unit of the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, AB. Norman has slowly made some progress from the injuries and burns he sustained, but he will have a very long road of treatment and recovery ahead of him as his body heals with the help of the team at University of Alberta Hospital.
In order to help Norman and his family during this difficult period, we have set up this funding page to collect donations for him. All donations made to this account, will be matched dollar for dollar by Norman’s employer, ABC Recycling Ltd.
Norman is a respected member of the ABC family, an avid fisherman and enjoys visiting his family in Eastern Canada.
