Celebrating the Life of Norma Villagomez

With heartache, we announce the passing of our beloved Norma Villagomez, who peacefully passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in La Estancia de San Jose del Carmen, Guanajuato, Mexico, on July 5, Norma was a significant figure in the hearts of her family and friends.

Norma was taken from us too soon, leaving a void in our hearts. Despite the medical challenges she faced in recent years, we are thankful that she is now at peace and no longer in pain. While we wish we had more time with her, we take comfort in knowing that her struggles have ended, and her spirit is at rest.

Norma was a loving wife of 40 years to her husband, Agustín Vertiz. She was a proud mother to her daughters, Juana and Victoria Vertiz, and a grandmother to Jesús, Darcie, Aritzi, Julien, Julio, and Naylin. Her kindness, humor and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

As part of honoring her memory and fulfilling her wishes, we are bringing her back to her beloved Mexico to be laid to rest. The journey to bring her home and give her the final resting place she deserves has incurred additional expenses, and we humbly ask for your support to help cover the funeral and travel costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and will help us fulfill this important part of her journey.

Con gran pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Norma Villagómez, quien falleció pacíficamente el 25 de marzo de 2025, a la edad de 60 años. Nacida en La Estancia de San José del Carmen, Guanajuato, México, el 5 de julio, Norma fue una figura importante en el corazón de su familia y amigos.

Norma nos fue arrebatada demasiado pronto, dejando un vacío en nuestros corazones. A pesar de los desafíos médicos que enfrentó en los últimos años, agradecemos que ahora esté en paz y sin dolor. Si bien desearíamos haber tenido más tiempo con ella, nos consuela saber que sus dificultades han terminado y que su espíritu descansa.

Norma fue una esposa amorosa de su esposo, Agustín Vértiz, durante 40 años. Fue una madre orgullosa de sus hijas, Juana y Victoria Vértiz, y abuela de Jesús, Darcie, Aritzi, Julien, Julio y Naylin. Su amabilidad, humor y amor inquebrantable serán profundamente extrañados por todos quienes la conocieron.

Para honrar su memoria y cumplir sus deseos, la llevaremos de regreso a su amado México para su sepultura. El viaje para llevarla a casa y darle el lugar de descanso final que merece ha generado gastos adicionales, y humildemente solicitamos su apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral y el viaje. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, será muy apreciada y nos ayudará a completar esta importante parte de su camino.
