Support Norma "Granny" Holt's Final Wish
Donation protected
Norma Ruth (Smith) Holt, affectionately known to many of us as “Granny”, is 87 years old. A longtime resident of California, she only recently relocated to Muskogee, OK in August.
Tragically, on Friday, October 13th, Granny suffered a fall resulting in a severe head injury. Initially treated at a local hospital in Muskogee, her condition rapidly deteriorated at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. By Saturday, October 21st, she was placed under hospice care, with medical professionals estimating that she has only days to a couple of weeks left.
Granny’s rapid decline has caught our family off-guard. Norma led a simple life, and the financial pressures of living in California took a toll on her, which partially prompted her return to her home state. Despite the challenges, Granny expressed her wish to be buried, and we are ardently trying to fulfill it.
Our family is humbly reaching out:
1. Prayers First: Your prayers and well-wishes are invaluable during these tough times.
2. Spread the Word: Kindly share this page on your social media to amplify our message.
3. Financial Assistance: If you feel moved to contribute, no amount is too small. Every bit will help us ensure Granny’s last wish is honored.
Granny is an exceptional woman, epitomizing values many aspire to embody. A Godly, caring, loving, and patient individual, she’s been a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her enduring marriage to Harlan Holt spanned 62 years, from 1952 until his passing in 2014. Our lives have been immeasurably enriched by her presence.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and support during this sorrowful period.
