Support Nora's Urgent Medical Care

To those reading, thank you for taking time to read about sweet Nora. Nora is my sister-in-law and her husband's sweet kitty. They have had Nora for 7 years and raised her from when she was a kitten. Nora is very much loved and has become an important part of their family. A week ago, Nora became ill and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. After days of vet visits and medication, it seemed like Nora was going to be okay but things took a turn for the worst. On Friday evening when they brought her to the vet for further testing and fluids, she suddenly and rapidly declined. Nora went into shock and her health became life-threatening. After being rushed to the emergency animal hospital (BEVs), Nora’s kidney function and vitals were in crisis but thankfully the veterinarian was able to stabilize her. After getting her stabilized, they were able to do some more testing and she was diagnosed with Uroabdomen. Nora will need to spend at least 3 more days at BEVs while they continue to do scans, ultrasounds, medicate and monitor her.

With only getting married a month ago, Nick and Grace are trying their hardest to fund Nora’s care. They've already paid out about 6k into her care thus far. Surgery is likely on the horizon and will be 4-7k more, along with the recovery process and continued future support for Nora’s health. Grace and Nick will do anything for their fur babies. Update: Nora is stable and home! She continues to need monitoring, medication, and visits to the vet to ensure that her kidneys are healthy. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Nora’s family greatly appreciates it.
