Hi, all! My name is Erin, and I’m organizing this GoFundMe for my dear friend Sarah Boyd, her husband Austin, the amazing 13-year-old Nora, and Nora's dad, Jesse, as well as her two sisters, Jane and Molly.

If you’ve ever met Nora, you already know how incredible she is—bright, humorous, and full of life.

Recently, her family got some hard news. Nora has been diagnosed with both Autoimmune Hepatitis (AIH) and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC)—two rare and complicated liver diseases, especially for her age.

The good news is that her medications for AIH are helping keep her symptoms under control, and she’s doing okay for now. The tough part? PSC doesn’t have a treatment, which means that at some point down the road—possibly as early as her 20s—Nora is going to need a liver transplant. Until then, her doctors are keeping a close eye on her with regular tests to help plan for the future.

Through all of this, Nora has shown so much strength and courage. She’s still her funny, determined self, and she’s focused on living her best life with her sisters, family, and friends. But the truth is, this diagnosis comes with a lot of challenges for her and her family—emotionally, physically, and financially.

That’s where we come in. Medical bills, travel to specialists, and preparing for the long road ahead are expensive, and Nora and family could really use some help. Every little bit makes a difference and helps take the weight off their shoulders so they can focus on what matters most: making sure Nora has everything she needs.
