If you knew Norah, you loved her! She was such a sweet soul! She will be deeply missed. I feel honored to have been her teacher, tutor, and friend. She certainly touched my life for good. If you knew and loved Norah, please consider donating to Norah’s Grove. Norah loved the forest! Her family will be planting a grove of trees to honor her and to be a place of comfort and peace—a place where they can feel close to her.
Hannah’s word about her sweet Norah Jane:
“The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life.” Russel M. Nelson
This past Friday, our beautiful girl Norah Jane Stevenson returned to her heavenly home after a car accident. We are devastated and grieving her loss with every breath, but we are also feeling the peace that passes all understanding.
We know that Norah is not gone. She is very much alive in Christ. Because of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the plan of happiness, we know this life is not the end. We believe Norah continues her journey on the other side of the veil as a radiant, ministering angel, full of purpose and light. Though we can’t see her with our eyes, we feel her near. We know she is watching over us. She is ours forever. We will see her again. We will hold her again.
And until that day, we will carry her light with us and try to continue to share it.
We feel Norah’s love so strongly. She was full of life, curiosity, creativity, and joy. She loved deeply and radiated warmth to everyone around her. We are better because she is ours.
We would be grateful for your prayers of comfort and peace for our family as we walk through this painful journey. We are leaning into our Savior, who knows this sorrow and promises us beauty from ashes.
We love you, Norah Jane. We’ll miss you every single day until we are together again.
