Support Nonna's Journey to Overcome Multiple Sclerosis

Hey everyone, I want to share something deeply personal and heartfelt with you. As many of you may not know, my incredible mom—also known as Nonna to her many grandchildren —was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2024. This devastating illness has stolen so much from her. It has diminished her ability to do the things she loves most with her family—walking on some days, fighting through relentless fatigue, enduring excruciating pain. She’s been fighting fiercely with various medications, yet the costs are overwhelming. The two times a year injections she needs cost over $100,000 out of pocket, and it's crushing to know she can’t afford the necessary treatments to fully regain her strength.

Recently, during a visit with her specialist, we were presented with a glimmer of hope—a life-changing procedure called Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, which involves intense chemotherapy. This procedure has the potential to reverse the progression of Multiple Sclerosis or even halt it altogether. It’s a beacon of hope, a chance for my mom to reclaim her life, to be the vibrant, loving grandmother she dreams of being, to enjoy the beautiful moments with her family without the shadow of this relentless disease.

The cost of this life-altering procedure ranges between $58,000 and $60,000, not including travel expenses.
