Support Noni's Battle Against Cancer

I am hoping to raise funds for my beautiful mother, Noni, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer.

Noni, a deaf Arizona native, is loved by everyone who gets the chance to meet her. She loves to have fun, dance, and make people laugh. She is known for her friendly nature and pure spirit. She is the type of person that makes you question how such a diagnosis could be deserved for such a beautiful soul. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is, but if you are reading this and you've met her, you already know the extent of her divine beauty.

Noni was diagnosed with colon cancer in June 2024 and is undergoing surgery on 7/29 to remove the section of her large intestine in which the cancerous polyp was found during a colonoscopy. The doctors will do further investigation from the surgery to see if there are any other cancerous polyps.

For the time being, the surgery itself is not fully covered by insurance. Noni will also need 6 weeks to recover from the surgery before she can return to work. Noni has been working as a histologist for her community for over 20 years. She will not be making any income for the duration of her recovery, and will have no means to pay her bills.

Noni has two kids to whom she's devoted her life to. She has multiple siblings and many nieces and nephews for whom she has supported emotionally and financially. She is well known in the deaf community in Tucson where the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind is located. After losing her hearing at 2 years old, she attended and lived at ASDB from elementary school until graduation. Her family is from Douglas, AZ where she spent her time outside of school. She raised her kids in Sierra Vista, AZ and is only recently back in Tucson with all of her family and friends.

I am asking on her behalf that you spare anything you can to help her stay on top of her finances as much as possible and get the medical care she needs.
