Help Our Mom, Nonie Douglass, Fight Metastatic Urothelial Cancer
Our mom, the light of our family, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 high-grade metastatic urothelial carcinoma that has already spread to her lymph nodes and includes a tumor in her ureter. Her doctors have told her without treatment, her prognosis is less than 6 months. But with the right care - chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and potentially targeted therapy - she can fight for more time and a better quality of life.
This news has shaken our family, but we are standing strong and hopeful—because anyone who knows our mom knows she’s a fighter.
She’s been married to our dad for over 30 years, and together they’ve built a beautiful life centered around faith, love, and family. She’s the proud grandmother of 8 amazing grandkids—with 2 more on the way—and the devoted mom of 4 children who adore her.
Our mom has always been the one who gives: her time, her heart, and her prayers. She shows up for everyone else, and now we want to show up for her.
This journey is going to be hard—physically, emotionally, and financially. Between treatments and time off work, the costs are already adding up quickly. We’re hoping to raise funds to ease the financial burden so she can focus on what matters most: healing, family, and holding onto hope.
We truly believe she has so much life left to live—more birthdays to celebrate, more snuggles with her grandbabies, and more memories to make.
If you feel led to give, thank you. If you can’t give, please share this and keep our mom in your prayers. Every bit of love and support helps more than we can express.
