Justice for Baby Princess Shoko
In July 2023, tragedy struck when baby Princess Shoko was murdered, her tiny body hidden in a sack and discarded in shallow waters in Harare. Since that heartbreaking day, her mother Nomsa Sibanda (Mai Princess) has been living a nightmare no parent should ever endure.
Over 2 years later, Princess’s remains are still in the mortuary. Despite countless efforts, Nomsa has been denied the ability to bury her daughter and find even the smallest measure of peace. She has now turned to the courts for intervention—but justice is not only slow, it is costly.
Nomsa is not fully employed and does part-time work to survive. But with court processes, transport, and legal fees piling up, she simply cannot keep up. The emotional toll is unbearable—but now the financial strain is threatening to silence her fight for justice.
She needs your help.
We are raising funds to help Nomsa:
• Cover legal and court application fees
• Pay for transport to and from court proceedings
• Reclaim her daughter's remains and finally lay her to rest with dignity
This is not just about closure—this is about justice. No mother should have to beg to bury her child. Every dollar will make a difference and bring us closer to that final, painful but necessary goodbye.
Please donate and share this campaign with your friends, families, and communities. Let's help Nomsa lay baby Princess to rest
