Support Nole's Recovery from Hurricane Helene

Devastated by hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina is still attempting to recover, as well as many communities across the Southeast. So many individuals and families are still reeling and heartbroken.

My partner, Nole, is one of the many folks still feeling the impacts of the hurricane. Nole is a single parent and an activist who gives back so much to their community. During the storm, losing power and water for an extended period of time meant loss of funds and the need to replace much of their food and basic supplies for daily life for their family. Additionally, Nole works as a therapist, and was unable to work during this time, due to the disaster. Work has continued to be limited over the months after the storm, which has caused significant financial strain. The loss of income during the storm and it's aftermath, as well as additional expenses such as new brakes and tires, and the replacement of so many basic items, has left them in a precarious financial situation. Your donation will help them as they continue to recover and will ensure they can recover from a place of strength, so they can lend that strength to doing the work they love to support others in their community.
