My name is Marissa and my husband Nolan just had surgery on 8/18/25 to remove an abnormal lesion on his left temporal lobe.

The lesion was found in June 2025 after I had to take Nolan to the emergency room due to debilitating head pain while coughing. He was diagnosed with pneumonia at that time and referred to a local neurosurgeon to address the abnormality they found on his brain. Surgery was completed successfully yet Nolan is off from work for a month due to restrictions around mobility and awaiting results on what exactly the lesion is and next steps regarding potential chemo and/or radiation.

At this time we are awaiting state paid medical leave yet due to processing we are going to have difficulty paying our mortgage and upcoming bills. Funds will be applied directly to our mortgage for September.

We hate to ask for help but also know we need support. Any help is appreciated and we will pay it forward in the future when we are more stable.
