Support Noe's Return After Lahaina Fires

Our beloved Gather family member, Noe, is finally moving back home after more than a year and a half of displacement due to the devastating Lahaina fires in 2023. Since the fires, she and her family have faced housing uncertainty, sharing a small living space while patiently awaiting their return back home. They are immensely grateful that their home is still standing and that remediation work is nearly complete—soon, they'll be settling back in!

As they rebuild their lives, we want to come together to help them replace lost furniture and essentials to make their house feel like home again. On August 8, 2023, a devastating wildfire brought heartbreak to the historic town of Lahaina, Maui. Among those most deeply affected is our cherished colleague, Noelani Rickard (Noe). Noe is safe, but sadly many of her family members are still missing, and one of her aunts tragically perished trying to escape the fire. Many of their family homes, along with all their belongings have also burnt to ashes.

Noe has a deep-rooted love for her community and truly embodies the aloha spirit: always ready with a smile, a plumeria behind her ear, and a helping hand. She now needs our help. 100% of the funds collected through this campaign will go directly to Noe and her family, and your donations will help them secure shelter, basics and ongoing needs during this incredibly difficult time.
